Wonder Woman is out in theaters. It was directed by Patty Jenkins and stars Gal Gadot and Chris Pine. I must say that I have been quite disappointed with DC films since Snyder’s Superman and haven’t been excited to see the new movies. That was until Wonder Woman. I now can say that I actually enjoyed a DC film.

Wonder Woman was cast perfectly having Gal Gadot play Wonder Woman and Chris Pine did a great role as Steven Trevor. They had a lot of chemistry between them it wasn’t just one character helping the other, but they both contributed to the other well.

The movie is quite long but it is never boring. I had a fun time from beginning to end. There is a lot of action and was choreographed very well. They still add the slow-motion bits that have become famous with DC films but I didn’t mind it in this movie. I thought the music was also very well done. In fact, while writing this, I’m listening to the soundtrack. I thought it added to the scenes which is what music is suppose to do. In the past DC films, the music was loud and a bit distracting but really fit in Wonder Woman.

The one thing I was disappointed with was the villain. No worries, there are no spoilers, but it seems DC nor Marvel can really get a good villain as of late. Wonder Woman’s villain is pretty easy to spot from the beginning. That and the end is CGI heavy and I thought I was playing a video game for a bit. Other than that I really enjoyed the movie and recommend it if you are looking for a movie to watch this week.

Let me know what you thought of the movie as well. I love to hear your opinions!
