Hey everyone, I hope this finds you well. I’ve been struggling to get back in a rhythm of shooting and editing videos but I’m really trying. I just posted a new review of the film, The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion, a Korean film by Park Hoon-Jung.
I changed up my style a bit and instead of being in front of the camera, I just did a voiceover with images and video. I know the audio is a bit weird so I’m going to have to fix that in the next video. But I’m curious about what you think of this kind of video? The creation process is a bit easier as I don’t have to worry about lights and what not and can make it at anytime of the day.
The editing process is a bit time consuming as I have to find all of the clips and photos to insert them accordingly. But it was a lot of fun. I’d love to hear what you all have to say. Does it work? Is me being in the video important? Tell me please. This was a kind of trial run but I think I like this style.
Also, The Witch is a fun film. It is a bit slower than other Park Hoon-Jung films but still good. Just don’t expect a lot of action like the others. Kim Da-Mi was fantastic in her role and I can’t wait to see what they do with the next film.
Thanks in advance for you tips and suggestions!
