Hello, everyone. This week I’m posting about the One More Trip Event going at Seoullo 7017 and the new Selby House exhibit at the Daelim Museum. I hope you enjoy this addition to my weekend exploring series. Please check out my Instagram @soju4two for more photos from the tour and exhibit.
The One More Trip $1 event will be going on until the 17th at Seoullo 7017, which is next to Seoul Station. It’s honestly a great deal, for $1 you get souvenirs, lunch, and a coffee or snack. I was a bit skeptical about the cafes and restaurants along the Seoullo Path, but I was really impressed with the quality of the food and all the perks that came with the event. It’s perfect for a leisurely day, especially in this heat. Don’t forget to check out the Malli-dong Plaza at the end of the path. (It’s next to the Bibimbap restaurant on the tour.)
The Selby House exhibit will be going on at the Daelim Museum until October 29th, so you definitely have time to check it out. A stop at Daelim Museum is the perfect addition to any trip to Gyeongbokgung or Gwanghwamun, since it’s so close. One of the best ways to escape the humidity and rain of monsoon season! Don’t miss the Daelim Museum Café across the alley from the museum entrance. It was too crowded for us this weekend, but it has a really interesting aesthetic and the green house room is my favorite. I hope you get a chance to see this colorful and playful exhibit.
