Recently me and Rachel from OttoKWORLD went out for a day of exploring. We went to a neighbourhood in Seoul that I am still quite unfamiliar with but I start to fall in love with more and more. This neighbourhood is Yeonnamdong, close to Hongdae.
Filled with quint little coffeeshops and restaurants this area is great for food lovers, coffee connoisseurs and people that want to fill their Instagram with interesting pictures leaving people craving for more.
We visited 3 separate locations on this trip: first we made a stop for lunch at Soi Yeonam (소이 연남) 229-67 Yeonnam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, South Korea. Hands down the best Thai food I have ever had and I definitely recommend to get the set with the spring rolls, papaya salad and two beef noodle soups!
The second spot we visited was a beautiful flower café filled to the brim with real life and dried flowers! This place is called Ver’s, 10, Donggyo-ro 41-gil, Mapo-gu. And its perfect to spend a quiet afternoon. I absolutely felt like I was in the jungle or a beautifull town house enjoying the sun in the foyer while the icy wind couldn’t bother me.
Our next stop was on the other side of yeonamdong, called Salon de Cheylone,(실론살롱) and as the name can tell, it is also a wonderful for tea and well as delicious cake. Don’t take all your girlfriends here as you will fill up the entire establishment but its perfect for a quiet date.
Our last stop was a beautifull little place selling flowers where I accidently bought a new plant, and that our day exploring beautifull Yeonnamdong. Which place would you like to visit next?
