When I started my YouTube journey back in July of 2017, my purpose was to document my journey to Korea. I wanted to show the entire process from the point where I decided to move to Korea, the EPIK application process, and then my eventual arrival in Korea. Seven months later, that day has finally arrived and in this vlog, you’ll see the closing of a chapter of my life and the opening of a new start in Korea.

There are many steps that I have to take in order to reach my goals and to pursue my dreams. The first step to realizing my goals was to join the EPIK program and to teach English in Korea. From there, I will go on an adventure to realizing my dreams and to document the whole process for the world to see.

This vlog takes you from my departure from NYC to my arrival to Incheon International Airport in Incheon. I arrive to Korea to spend a week in Seoul right before my 9-day EPIK orientation. I got an awesome chance to explore the city a bit, meet some other YouTubers in Korea (some expectedly, and others unexpectedly) as you’ll see, and meet up with a few other EPIK teachers who came to Korea prior to the start of orientation. So it was a fun filled week in Seoul with some awesome people!
