Hello, I’m a photographer living in Seoul, the Older Youtubbers May remember me from my previous Korea travel and food channel, but these days I focus much more on videos about photography in Korea. Anyways, I’ve been working on some projects and this one is about rainy nights in Seoul. I probably started shooting some of these scenes last fall and was able to finish this last summer with the rains from typhoon soulik. Each second in this video is 24 photos, multiply that by how many seconds there are in the length of this video and it can give you an idea about how long it took me to shot to. At one point my camera almost died too. Anyways, please enjoy and if you are into photography videos you can sub also. My new channel is much smaller than my old channel but that’s quite okay with me. Anyways, Some of the areas i visited were SM town, Jongro, Ikseondong, Dongdaemun, Seoulstation. There were other areas that I had in mind but the music for the video was quite short so I could not make it any longer. Sometimes people ask me how do I keep my camera dry. I use an umbrella. As for the Gear, I used my Canon 5D Mark III with the Canon 24-1055 mm f4 lens. And I used the Gitzo tripod. They are pretty good against rain but at some point I thought that my camera died. So then I threw it into a bag full of silica gel so that it could suck up all the water. As for the editing I used Adobe CC collection. Including Adobe Lightroom, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Premiere Pro. I used lightroom to edit the photos. Then I used Adobe After Effects to put the clips together. And Finally I used Adobe Premiere Pro to put the clips together into one nice long video for watching and stuff like that.
