안녕하세요 여러분 and welcome to back to another Mika in Korea episode. It is really getting cold in South Korea these days, so it is the perfect time to explore the Korean Street Food Culture, which is called 길거리음식 in Korean. For that I invited Cassie Casper (캐시 캐스퍼), which most of you will know from the famous Korean learning site “ttmik or Talk to me in Korean”, who lives more than 8 years already in Korea and it super familiar with all the Korean topics. So no wonder, that she was giving me a proper introduction into Korean food culture, explained me a lot of little things and taught me also Korean expressions. For trying out the Korean Street Food we went to the famous Mangwon Market (망원시장) in Seoul, where we tried all various kinds of street food: Tteokbokki (떡볶이), Sundae (순대), Hotteok (호떡) and many more! Unfortunately Cassie and I got full pretty fast, so I think, we will meet up soon for a 2nd round of Korean Street Snacks!
I really hope you enjoyed our Korean Street Food through the Mangwon Market, if so, please don’t forget to press the like button and leave a comment. I read all the comments and even answer most of them. I truly appreciate every comment you guys write.
