안녕하세요! Annyeonghaseyo!

Mika and Alex head out to Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do, to make the wonderful wine of Korea: Makgeolli! I would make videos about trying Korean alcohol all the time if that were a responsible thing for an adult to do…this video was so much fun to make.

It’s pretty complicated and takes a lot of steps, so I’d definitely recommend taking a class or doing it with a teacher if you only want to try it once. I still have no idea how to do it, but I would totally go out there and take the class again.

To be honest, their alcohol tasted so good ~ even if you don’t take the class, I’d go there just to try their makgeolli and food. Plus, it’s a great excuse to get out of the city and into nature!

The restaurant is called: 술빚는전가네

I would say that makgeolli is my favorite of the Korean alcohol choices. The reason: I love the taste, the lower alcohol content per sip (more cheers!), and the atmosphere of drinking at a Korean makgeolli restaurant.

Also, special thanks to Arirang TV for taking us out to this restaurant. Their writers and producers did a great job of organizing the trip, and they were definitely a lot of fun to work with. If you ever get the chance to work with them in Korea, definitely give it a go!
