Hey guys, back this week with a new a korean thrift haul video. I really wanted to go thrift shopping in korea but honestly I prefer shopping from my bed lol. But I definitely wanna get out more and actually go thrift shopping in Seoul and around my area. So I scoured the internet, more specifically Gmarket, and copped some really nice finds. All the clothing items ranged between 4000 won to 10,000 won which is pretty cheap. So definitely shop around online for thrifted items cos’ if you live in a more rural area it’ll be more difficult to do it. You can shop on Gmarket, 11th Street or on buy and sell forums on facebook! Honestly, sometimes you can find hidden gems.

Anyway, I really wanna change the direction of my channel because I wanna buy high end pieces but I honestly have zero cash but I don’t want to be falling back on fast fashion outlets such as Zara, H&M etc. They’re good, but I want to gravitate towards more ethical ways of purchasing clothing. But even some ethical clothing companies can have a hefty price range. But thrifting is a really good way. It’s kinder to the environment, in some ways better for worker rights (depending on clothing brand) and easier on my bank account.

My only gripe with the purchases was with the second package. I bought this musty ass sweater and the smell worked its way to all the other pieces in the box. So I spent a good 3-4 days trying to remove the smell. I knew the smell was mildew related so I googled the best methods to remove the smell. Each website suggested baking soda, lemon juice and vinegar. I used all three and it was pretty effective with all the pieces. But the smelly sweater was ruined and beyond repair. This made me angry and obsessive so I kept washing it only to have it destroyed lol. Anyways that’s it for this week!
