I did it! Yes! I ate a Korean Live Octopus for the first time ever in my life! So if you are interested how I liked it the live octopus dish San-nakji (산낙지) you should continue to read this blog post or even better, watch my Youtube Video about it. My friends from Austria stopped by in Seoul / South Korea for a few days on their tour through Asia. And of course they wanted to visit the famous Gwangjang Market (광장시장), where we wanted to try out some Traditional Korean Street food as well as doing some shopping. The first station of our Gwangjang Market food tour brought us to the famous 순희네 빈대떡, where we enjoyed some delicious Bindaetteok (빈대떡) and Makgeolli (막걸리). I already made a video about this with my dear friend Susanne, so if you didn’t see it yet, please watch it as well. After the Bindaetteok we also tried other Korean street food snacks like Sundae (순대), Fish Bread (붕어빵), Gogi Mandu (고기만두), Kimchi Mandu (김치만두) and as mentioned at the beginning, the notorious Korean Live Octopus: San-nakji (산낙지)! For me it was really the first time eating Octopus, so I didn’t like it too much, as expected. But at least I can finally cross it of my Korean Bucket List. My Austrian friends were more adventurous and tried out nearly everything. And we also bought some new clothes for them, what was super funny. But for that you definitely need to watch the video, since it is hard to describe the madness. But believe me, you won’t regret this. It was a really fun and entertaining shooting at the Gwangjang Market (광장시장)!
