안녕하세요 여러분 and welcome to my 23rd vlog! Finally, I am starting my Korean Language Challenge, I announced some time ago. Somehow I needed to announce it in public, otherwise I wouldn’t have any pressure to finally start learning Korean. Originally I wanted to start in September 2017 but as you can see, I kinda postponed it to October. But no there is no way back anymore and from now on I really have to study Korean hard. Why am I starting a Korean Language Challenge? First of all, since I move to South Korea for good, it is really about time to learn the Korean language finally. After one year there is truly no excuse anymore. Second, I really want to be able to talk to my parents in law without any help from my wife Sujin. They are such lovely and caring people, it is a shame I can’t talk to them by myself. The tricky part here is, that I also need to learn some Busan Dialect (Satoori), which will be really fun, I guess 😛 Anyway, I hope can pull this Language Challenge off and master Korean within 1 year. I know, this doesn’t sound moch (considering Korean is on of the hardest languages to learn) but I already started studying Korean, so I hope this headstart will help me accomplishing my goal. For learning Korean I will main study with my Korean wife, using Korean textbooks from Korean Universities but also Online Ressource like TTMIK (Talk to me in Korean) as some Youtube Channels about Learning Korean online. I really hope, you guys will help me learning Korean, if you have any advice, how to learn Korean faster, please let me know in the comments. I will upload more videos about me learning Korean, so if you want to follow me on my quest of mastering Korean language, please subscribe to my Youtube Channel at “Mika in Korea”! Thank you so much for watching and have a great day! cheers Mika
