Have you ever wanted to see the Olympic Torch Run?! One of the future goals I wrote down in the 3rd grade was to go to the Olympics. Of course, I expected to be in the Olympics myself, but failing health and a kidney being removed kind of messed that up. Anyway, we decided to go watch the torch relay since it was coming through our town. It was quite the experience and I think it was a very important one. Not just for myself, but for my daughter, too. She may be young, but she is in the learning stages, so I believe that it is a good way to build her vocabulary and knowledge about the Olympics. I have always been a big fan of the Winter Olympic Sports and I feel so blessed to be able to be in Korea at such a time as this. Since Lily (my daughter) is half-Korean, I also want her to see me cheering and rooting on Korea. It is as much her country as any other Koreans out there. I want her to feel a sense of pride and excitement when Korea is competing in sports. Iโ€™m very excited for our future her and I canโ€™t wait until we get to go see one of the Olympic events. I believe that we will be going to the Paralympics, so I hope that you all will come join us on those adventures as well.
