It’s not easy to like everything about our physical appearance, especially in this day and age where we are constantly exposed to fabricated images and very rare individuals with exceptional beauty on the screen, and consider them to be the beauty norm that we should chase after and adjust ourselves to. I too sometimes wish I had more aligned teeth, taller nose bridge, or some other physical alterations would happen, but as I learn to embrace every part of my face and body and realize many wonderful things I can do with my imperfections, the easier and effortless it becomes to genuinely feel good about the way I look and the way I am. After all, you are not your body, but you have a body. Your body is a house and a vehicle that contains your spiritual essence, your soul, and the more you honor your body by taking good care it and doing worthy things, the more it will honor your back in many wonderful ways.
