What does a foreigner do during Chuseok in Seoul? Spending money on coffee and baked goods apparently! This Chuseok I spent my (almost) week off with friends, good food and fun things to attend around Seoul. It was so fun to see the streets and subways rather empty and searching for things to do, when many stores and restaurants had closed. On our first day off we went to one of the university’s festivals and saw “10cm” live, which was a teenage dream of mine coming true. We also checked out the cafe “cafe onion” and ate some of their black walnut bread (yes it was entirely black?)! Check out my video!
My name is Miriam and on my YouTube channel “Miriam Ben” I post a new video every Sunday (6pm Korean time). I usually post vlogs about my daily life as a korean studies student, fashion enthusiast and passionate traveler/explorer. Occasionally I do the typical hauls and lookbooks, or film challenges with my closest friends. I like to communicate all I can with my subscribers, and given that I have a small channel still, I get to reply to each comment and DM I receive! I hope that will never change. ✌🏻
As I’m right now, only staying temporarily in Seoul for a semester, I am only experiencing being a YouTuber based in South Korea. I hope to one day study or work here for a longer period of time!
It would mean the world to me if you check out my video/channel and let me know what you think! And of course, if you want to get in touch please don’t hesitate whatsoever 👋🏻
