Good to be back here with some friends of mine from Korea trying to learn a new…language???

I went to Hawaii about 9 years ago and really enjoyed the food, the scenery, and the beaches. However, I remember one night going out to a local bar and… well… not really fitting in. And there’s a good reason for it. Tourists are often seen as people who just invade the land for a week and don’t really appreciate the culture of Hawaii, which has a rich background that goes well beyond surfing and hotels.

One way to fit in a little bit better is to understand the language. Take a swing at some Hawaiian slang words by taking the quiz with Alex, Joe, and Garren! Garren is originally from Hawaii, so he knows his stuff!

It’s not the easiest quiz you’ll take, but it’s more about just having fun! And there’s a punishment for the loser, as well. It’s a spice called “Lihingmui”, and it’s actually pretty good when you have just a little with popcorn, fruit, or other small snacks…but don’t take spoonful of it! Who is Alex?
