Woooohoo and I am back with another episode of Mika in Korea, this time my 28th video already. In this vlog I showed my friend Susanne the oldest and largest traditional markets in South Korea: The Gwangjang Market (광장시장)! There we took a short look around but the main reason we went to the Gwangjang Market (광장시장) was a place called 순희네 빈대떡! At this place they serve one of the most delicious Bindaetteok (빈대떡) I’ve ever ate. Also the mood at this place is always great, it is packed, loud and always crowded. A real drinking place! And since it is a drinking place we ordered some Makgeolli (막걸리) as well. It didn’t take long for us to get drunk, since we didn’t eat anything before. And this really happend in the middle of the day. But there is a saying in Korean: 밤술은 진짜 맛있고 낮술은 지이이인짜 맛있어! This means like “drinking at night is fun but drinking during the day is REALLY fun”. And yeah, getting drunk in the early afternoon is a perfect start for an even more entertaining evening 😀 After that we went to the Bukchon Hanok Village and if you watched my video there, you know how it ended!

Anyway, if you want to experience the real drinking and eating culture in Korea, going to the Gwangjang Market is a great idea. And stopping by the 순희네 빈대떡 to grab some Bindaetteok & Makgeolli even a better one 😀
