Are we having a boy or a girl?

In this video we reveal if we are having a boy or a girl! We have known for a while but have just been too busy to make a video about it. Although Hugh did accidentally reveal at our book signing… so some people already knew!
Rather than just revealing the sex we decided to talk about Korean prediction dreams as well. In Korea it’s common for the mother, or someone close to her, often a female relative, to have a dream that is supposed to predict if the baby is a boy or a girl. In the dream there is usually an object or animal that represents the sex of the baby. While not always believed entirely of course, it’s interesting when it is correct.

In the video we talk about my mother in law changing her prediction and getting it very correct, just 2 days before I had an ultrasound! What she saw in her dream is now also the nickname of our baby.
We talk about some things that are supposed to represent boys and what represents girls. It’s not always how you would assume. A small snake can mean a girl, but a big snake can mean a boy. Shiny, pretty things can mean a girl, but also some vegetables you would maybe not associate with girls. It’s really interesting to see how culturally different dreams are interpreted.
