Check out the 2018 PyeongChang Cultural Olympiad (2018 평창 문화 올림픽)!
It’s going on now in Gangneung at Gangneung-Wonju University.
There’s some amazing food and really cool activities to check out there. I definitely recommend the heotteok ~ it’s totally worth the price. Also, if you have the chance, check out the chocolate stand (아재 초콜릿) ~ the owners were super nice.
When you’re there, don’t forget to check out the Gyeongpo Beach – that’s were that cool wooden artwork was. I could be wrong, but I think they’re gonna light them all on fire at the end of the games!

Gangneung is 100% my favorite place in Korea, and I’ll definitely be going back there this year. I’ve been lucky enough to be selected as a Gangwondo Supporter, so I’ll get the chance to try out a lot of places in that province.

If you have the chance, it’s a great area to visit outside of Seoul. I’ll be going back to Pyeongchang and Gangnueng for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, and I’ll be sure to take lots of pictures and videos.
